Cambodian natural mineral water producer Kulara Water has commissioned France’s TotalEnergies to design, install and operate a solar array coupled with on-site energy storage for its bottling facility in Siem Reap Province. Site of Kulara Water where the solar and storage systems are installed.
[pdf] Launched on May 22 in the southern Kolda region, the hybrid plant will generate 60 megawatts of solar power and store up to 72 megawatt-hours of energy. Once operational, it is expected to supply clean electricity to more than 25,000 households, benefiting nearly 235,000 people.
[pdf] Approved by the PPP Board, this 125MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic power plant will support Ethiopia’s clean energy transition. Located in the Somali Regional State, the project will span 227 hectares and generate sustainable electricity for Ethiopian households and industries.
